Training through research

Associate professor of political science at Sciences Po Bordeaux, member of the Les Afrique dans le monde (LAM) research laboratory. I teach comparative politics, political and institutional risks, and African politics.
My research focuses on the dynamics of political systems (democratization and illiberalization) and the political governance. How certain actors—political parties, elections, civil society, religious actors, the armed forces—engage in political participation, at the national level, or on sectorial issues.
